Prof. UO Paweł Sobczyk Paweł Sobczyk (born in 1974, in Warsaw) – Polish lawyer, expert in canon law, constitutional law and denominational law, associate professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Opole.
He is the graduate of law and canon law studies at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. In 2004, he received the PhD degree in canon law at the Faculty of Canon Law, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. On 18 March 2014, at John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Science in legal sciences, in the field of law. Until 2014 he worked as assistant professor at the Faculty of Canon Law at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, next, he took the position at the University of Opole[3] and at Warsaw School of Information Technology (WIT) in Warsaw.
He is the deputy editor-in-chief of Przegląd Prawa Wyznaniowego [Review of Canon Law] journal.
On 2016 he was elected the President of the Board of the Polish Canon Law Association for the 2016-2020 term. He is also the member of the Polish Association of Constitutional Law, the KUL University Scientific Society and the Society of Polish Canon Law Experts.
He is the reviewer of some scientific journals: Probacja [Probation], Annales Canonici, Studia Iuridica Lublinensia, Studia Prawnicze KUL [KUL Legal Studies], Studia z Prawa Wyznaniowego [Studies in Canon Law].
