Przemysław Jaśkiewicz

Przemysław Jaśkiewicz (born in 1965), graduate of history at the Catholic University of Lublin. President of the Confederation of Non-Government Initiatives of the Republic of Poland (KIPR), between 2011-2016 he served as the Vice-President of the Board of the Independence Foundation, and since 25 May 2017 as its Board Member. Over this period he co-developed and was involved in the following nationwide education projects: “2013 – the Year of the Cursed Soldiers” (including the music project: “Cursed Maidens” and card game “Cursed Heroes”) and “the Year of Soldiers-Wanderers”. He also organized recurrent Retrospectives of the Documentary Film Festival “Defiant, Unbroken, Cursed” in Lublin whose outreach went beyond the region, and a number of other local initiatives. He has authored papers in social and history journal Kwarta [Quarter], published by the Independence Foundation. Since 2008 he has been the Board Member of the Construction Sport Club (BKS) Association in Lublin where he co-developed its strategy and has been involved in its current activities (organization of football tournaments for young players, co-edition of the Website, video coverage of club events). Over that period, the BKS advanced from a declining small club to one of the best youth training football clubs in Lublin region (second in the Lublin Football Association), also acknowledged across Poland (cooperation with the Polish Premier League Clubs: Jagiellonia Białystok, Lech Poznań, Legia Warsaw). Since 2016, he has been the member of the Three Dots Association. In June 2016, he was appointed member of the Council for Non-Profit Activities (for its fifth term). Since February 2017, he has been the President of the Confederation of Non-Government Initiatives of the Republic of Poland. Przemysław Jaśkiewicz has a vast experience in management, acquired throughout his professional career. Between 1992 and 1993, he was the co-founder and deputy CEO of the private radio outlet (Radio Puls in Lublin). Since 1995, he has been the Administrative Manager at O.K. Centrum Języków Obcych sp. z o. o. training firm. Hobbies: history, video filming. Married, father of two sons.
